 Home Grown OT 4 Kids is excited to announce that we are now offering Teletherapy!  

Teletherapy will allow your child to continue their occupational treatment sessions in the safest way during this time. 

Your child will continue his/her regular weekly sessions with his/her therapist via Zoom.

Does my insurance or school pay for teletherapy?

YES! Many insurances and schools are covering services for telehealth. Contact us to ask about your specific insurance. 

Will Teletherapy Work for My Child?

We have had a lot of questions about how some of our kids can benefit from this type of therapy implementation, we feel all of our kids and parents would benefit in some aspect whether it be ...

1. Helping parents to problem solve a behavior or a frustrating situation at home. 
2. Observing life skill tasks. For example: feeding or dressing in their own home situation.
3.  Training parents as the e-helper will empower parents to learn useful techniques. 
4. Focusing on home programs with supplies you already have at home. 
5. Demonstrating ideas from videos, websites and handouts available to parents.
6. Working more on self regulation and socialization with siblings and videos.
7. Utilizing Zoom’s interactive whiteboards available for drawing and tracing.
8. Sessions can even be recorded for  learning purposes or noting progress and referred back to as needed. 

WILL MY CHILD KEEP HIS/HER SAME THERAPIST?

 Yes, if at all possible! 

DO I STILL PAY MY REGULAR CO-PAY?

Yes, this applies the same for telehealth as it does for in-person sessions.
